    Red Arch Solutions is a proven and effective small business integrator and consultant, recognized as a leading provider of IT development to the Federal Government, and primarily focused within the Intelligence Community.

     

    Red Arch is seeking a Software/Web Developer to support the Defense Intelligence Agency.

     

    The scope of this contract relates to the Agile development of an Integrated Mission Management (IMM) Framework.  The software/web developer will build the UI to the middleware code and the databases in an AWS cloud environment using the DI2E development suite of tools. The effort will require the development of APIs/code based on weighted user stories that the SCRUM team creates.

     

    Responsibilities/Job Function:

    • Supports software and web architecture API development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, and integration (with both new and legacy systems)
    • Provides specific input to the software components of system design and user stories to include software reuse, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
    • Analyzes customer requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy their needs
    • Designs, creates, tests, and maintains software and web-based applications and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements
    • Designs and develops visually-pleasing, content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation
    • Ensures efficient delivery of software engineering capabilities using Agile methods and repeatable processes
    • Uses Agile software engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the DevOps environment
    • Mitigates risks, controls costs and schedule variance, and effectively manages large scale, integrated software projects
    • Designs and develops manual and automated test procedures
    • Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
    • Perform quality control on team products
    • Coordinates software system installation and monitors equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met
    • Develops and maintains software and web development technical documentation to assist with software and web application maintenance and upgrades
    • Implements recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards

     

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Mandatory Security Clearance Requirement: SECRET
    • Demonstrated proficiency and experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and some or all of the following: Linux (CentOS and Red Hat), Microsoft Windows (Server and Workstation), databases (Oracle, MySQL), web services, internet protocols, Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) systems
    • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position (e.g. information systems, computer science, math, or engineering) and six (6) years of relevant technical experience
      • An additional four (4) years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree
    • Must presently be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2 preferred); must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) by date of security indoctrination with any necessary continuing education (CE) for certification 

    Desired Qualifications

    • Previously worked in a DevOps environment
    • Previously worked using Agile methods and SCRUM or SAFe processes
    • Previously worked using Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git), and SonarQube
    • Certified SCRUM Developer or Certified SCRUM Professional
