    Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Network Configuration Manager to support our mission at Patrick Air Force Base near Melbourne, Florida to assist with audit readiness.

    The Network Configuration Manager (Integration Services) will perform documentation and software configuration control for mission applications in accordance with AFMAN 17-1203 standards. Identify configuration items, implement change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits. Regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software, licenses, media, Information Technology Assets. Ensure that all changes to the baselines go through appropriate change board. Track all problems and changes in product documents/software and reports changes, control standard operating procedures and current configurations. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


    • Provide change management integration services for all software in accordance with NIST SP 800-128, Guide for Security-Focused Configuration Management of Information Systems. Tasks include:
      • Implementing and Managing network baseline configuration controls
      • Ensuring Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance for Change and Configuration Management (CCM) activities
      • Preparing and initiating coordination of documentation required by Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards for AF networks
      • Reviewing changes to ensure readiness to process and schedule for release
      • Working with project teams to integrate CCM activities into the overall project plan
      • Monitoring and documenting baselines of configuration items for formal test and delivery, and shall ensure all required data is available for use by those producing and/or using the baselined configuration items
      • Plan and recommend a forward schedule of changes and releases
      • Develop efficient and effective programs to maintain and track IT assets planning tests, including the creation of test plans/procedures and monitoring the execution of tests to ensure readiness to deploy
      • Chair pre-and post-change meetings and document releases


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Active TS/SCI clearance required
    • Familiarity with DoD or Air Force environment desired
    • IAT Level 1 or 2 certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M (Security and Computing Environment certification)
    • Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or related work experience (6 years)
    • At least 2 years of specific experience executing a change management process in an IT environment

    • Good oral and written communication skills

    • Ability to work well with others

    • Good organizational skills

    • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, Air Force Instructions (17 and 33 series), NIST 800-128 desired

    • Must have a broad, deep customer service orientation and professional appearance/demeanor
