Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Logistics/Equipment Manager to support our mission at Patrick Air Force Base near Melbourne, Florida.

 

The scope of this contract is to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support to the United States Prompt Diagnostic System (USPDS) for AFTAC in the areas of collection and analysis of nuclear phenomena to support speed of sound (SOS) and speed of light (SOL) mission areas in support of USPDS headquarters functions and to support numerous sensor nodal locations.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Shall support warehousing, sparing and logistics activities using the Government provided property management tools and software
  • Direct the transport and organization of Government equipment and supplies
  • Perform item and monetary accounting and inventory stock control, financial planning, and funds control for numerous equipment locations and headquarters to include sparing, toolkits, and consumable items
  • Perform duties involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of Government property
  • Perform and monitor management (and procedural application) of manual or automated inventory control actions
  • Compute and accumulate equipment data for use in analysis
  • Perform inventories, and ensure timely correction of discrepancies and prepare, analyze, and evaluate reports, procedures, and policy data
  • Periodically inspect activities for compliance with policies, procedures, and directives for accuracy
  • Evaluate supply efficiency and equipment management activities
  • Inspect and identify property and conditions of the property received and perform shelf life inspections of equipment. Compare property received with procurement specifications

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position and ten (10) years of relevant experience in equipment management/logistics support
  • Working knowledge and/or familiarity with the higher order logistics/equipment support activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support to equipment and systems
  • Shall have knowledge of basic mathematics, supply policies and procedures, property accounting, stock and inventory control, accountability and responsibility, principles of property accounting through manual or automated processing systems, storage methods, warehouse control (receipt, issue, and disposal), materiel handling techniques, methods of preparing and maintaining supply records, manual and automated supply accounting systems, and basic logistics principles
  • Possess DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ or equivalent)
