Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Configuration Manager to support our mission at Patrick Air Force Base near Melbourne, Florida.

 

The scope of this contract is to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support to the United States Prompt Diagnostic System (USPDS) for AFTAC in the areas of collection and analysis of nuclear phenomena to support speed of sound (SOS) and speed of light (SOL) mission areas in support of USPDS headquarters functions and to support numerous sensor nodal locations.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the configuration of system equipment, site installations, software, and its connectivity and network topology, and ensure all support documentation is kept current with system architecture utilizing the Government provided Asset Management Solution software
  • Participate in configuration management meetings and support the Government in the configuration control boards (CCB’s) for the USPDS system in accordance with MIL-HDBK 61A, Configuration Management
  • Prepare for and participate in formally scheduled reviews and audits (e.g., Software Specification Review (SSR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)/Physical Configuration Audit (PCA)) to be conducted in accordance with standards (e.g., established Government and industry standards) (CDRL A002)

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position and ten (10) years of relevant technical experience in configuration management for sensors, communications systems and logistics support
  • Working knowledge and/or familiarity with the higher order configuration management/logistics support activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support to equipment and systems
  • Possess DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ or equivalent)

  • USPDS Experience
  • AFTAC experience
