Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Systems Architect to support our mission at Patrick Air Force Base near Melbourne, Florida.
The scope of this contract is to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support to the United States Prompt Diagnostic System (USPDS) for AFTAC in the areas of collection and analysis of nuclear phenomena to support speed of sound (SOS) and speed of light (SOL) mission areas in support of USPDS headquarters functions and to support numerous sensor nodal locations.
Responsibilities include:
Function as a system administrator to work with the agency's experts to ensure the sensor based system integrates with AFTAC infrastructures and complies with local and other Government agency architectural guidelines and technical standards
Perform the administration of system architecture with expertise in Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs), Maintenance Tasking Orders (MTOs), and Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Notice to Airmen (NOTAM)
Oversee and install local and remote systems to include LINUX and CISCO based equipment
Integrate new technologies into current system architectures as specified
Maintain hardware, software and system patches in accordance with (IAW) Information Assurance (IA) guidelines, Department of Defense (DOD) 8570.01-M, and Configuration Control Board approved configurations; provide all necessary input to support IA systems
Should possess expertise in Red Hat Certified Systems and CISCO Certified Networks
Should possess experience configuring and maintaining routers; the ability to write scripts in some administrative programming languages such as Java, Python and C and have the ability to do minimal debugging and modification of programs written in those programming languages
Should possess experience with network security, firewalls, authentication systems, and cryptography to network applications
Should possess experience with board-level diagnosis and repair of computer systems; with component-level diagnosis and repair of computer systems; installation and maintenance of network cabling and use
Possess DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ or equivalent) and Red Hat Linux Certification
