Red Arch is seeking a Software Test Engineer for our customer in Maryland You will be joining a qualified team of diverse teammates who will face challenges to protect enterprises and nations from large-scale attacks. Create, build, and re-invent wireless networks and software.
Must possess and maintain an active Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
The Software Test Engineer will:
*Work with developers to integrate software components into a system to meet requirements
*Work with developers, system engineers and data characterization teams to produce the following types of tests
*Testing of browser based software - new development and regression testing (ticket based bug process)
*Short development and test cycles
*Understanding of Agile Development and spin/sprint cycles
*Understanding of JIRA
*Ability to automate testing user interfaces and REST APIs
*Understanding of SIGINT
*Understanding of query compliance rules
The Mid-level Test Engineer shall have at least the following experience:
*At least six (6) years in test engineering or integration of modern hardware/software systems
*Proficient in the development and implementation of test strategies, plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports
*At least four (4) years of requirements analysis experience and in particular must be fully trained or have experience in the testing of systems at the component, integration, system, and end-to-end levels.
*Understanding of basic UNIX, DOS and Windows commands
